Tony The Mole
3D Level Design and Enviroment Creation
Summary
This project was part of the game Tony the Mole, where I assisted the team in designing and building a new hidden side-quest temple level. The goal was to create an atmospheric environment that felt like a forgotten ruin—once a beautiful spiritual place, now overtaken by time. The area offered players extra challenges and tasks, adding depth to the established IP.
My Focus
My work centered on concepting, layout design, and blocking out the temple environment. I focused especially on the main temple space, creating a large dome and a serene pond inspired by the Ayutthaya map from Overwatch, where water streams down through the roof into a small waterfall. Beyond this, I modeled a range of 3D environmental assets, developed shaders for the water, and adjusted textures and lighting to reinforce the mood of a mystical, timeworn temple.
